Your profile
- You have a technical diploma or experience in a technical job.
- You are accurate and have an eye for detail.
- You have technical insight and a good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Above all, you are motivated and prepated to learn a lot.
- You preferably have experience working in the steel industry, but this is not a requirement.
- You are a certified forklift operator.
Your duties
As a machine operator at Decoutere Profielen, you are responsible for the profiling lines. You ensure that the production of our steel profiles runs smoothly and correctly.
Your specific duties:
- you operate the entire profiling line
- you continually meet the customer’s qualitative and technical requirements
- you modify and programme the machines for each order
- you perform regular checks of the efficiency and speed of the machines
- you check the quality and dimensions of the produced profiles

- You preferably have experience working in the steel industry, but this is not a requirement.
Your duties
As the production line manager at Decoutere Profielen, you ensure that the production line keeps running smoothly. You are responsible for every aspect of the production of our profiles.
Your specific duties:
- You oversee the entire production process and make adjustments where necessary.
- You manage the daily planning schedule and the production activities.
- You are responsible for a team of machine operators. You manage them, coach them, follow up on them and assess them.
- You regularly check all the machines to ensure that they work optimally.
- You are responsible for the quality of the end product.
